Our Trip to Rainforest Park

Our third entry in this blog is our trip to Rainforest Park, Cebu. We visited the place mainly to eat lunch and see some of their animals. We only saw a few of these animals since we did not go in to the park itself where more can be seen (with separate entrance fees) and lots of activities can be done. My kids are still too young for their park adventures so I guess we will just eat for now, and visit again soon 😉  You can visit their website for a list of activities and attractions: http://rainforestparkcebu.com/

The place is nice and spacious. It is an open air restaurant, quiet hot and humid at lunch time but I think the place is great for evening visits and dinner. Surrounded by big trees, you can hear the sound of swaying leaves and chirping birds which makes your stay relaxing. While waiting for your food, you can go around the area and see animals like snakes, crocodile, iguana, turtle, monkeys, and lots of fishes.

Food is OK. We ordered the Seafood Island Boodle style. We did not notice how long it took our order to arrive since we are busy with all the animals and fishes around us.

Rei enjoyed her stay because of the animals, she’s my tour guide this time since she can now identify different kinds of animals.  But she only ate rice and pork barbeque since she’s still afraid of crabs and shrimps. Hehe… Sai, the little one, did not enjoy the place (except for the wall full of fishes) because it was hot! He sweats a lot and just wants to stay in the souvenir shop where there are stuffed animal tigers and bears.

We will visit again soon not just to eat but to go inside their aviary, join in their adventure packages, and eat more boodle.
