Our sixth entry in this blog is our trip to Costabella Tropical Beach Hotel. This is actually our 3rd stay at Costabella, 2 of which are for Easter Sunday Celebrations. I love this resort because of its affordable price, nice pools, spacious rooms, and great food. 🙂 For this year’s Easter celebration, we went to this resort in time for their Easter Sunday Mass at 9AM. We also got ourselves a room for day use which is a very important requirement for me when visiting a resort even for day use only. I want my kids to rest and sleep (if they want) in a room rather than in an open area or under an umbrella where you can still feel the scorching summer heat of the sun. I also want to watch cable TV while resting hihihi…

For a day use room, it will cost you around P6,500 (as of this writing). This is good for 4 adults and several kids, well I only have 2. This rate already includes a consumable amount of P3,000. Not bad neh! You can already eat a lot for 3k. 🙂 Here is the gang taking some poses at the lobby area and waiting for the go signal to hit the pool!

We are “supposed” to join in their Easter Celebration because that is the ultimate plan, right? Unfortunately, my 3-yr old Rei saw something in their celebration which she does not like, at all! And these are the Star Wars characters. hehehe… Her eyes widened when she saw them and declared that…. No! we are not going in there Mama! She is soooo afraid of Darth Vader (she still has no idea that mascots are just people in costumes, she still thinks that they are real and dangerous. Cute! hehehe). So we just watched the kids having fun from afar while they join the egg hunt. Maybe next time, we will get a chance to win their prizes, ok Rei? 🙂

Our little Sai here gave me his killer looks. The pool water is soooo cold that he doesn’t want to go back to the pool after 2 minutes of dipping and crying. Again, maybe next time, ok Sai?

Here are photos of their pool. They have 2 pools, one curvy and one rectangular shaped. I like the curvy one when swimming at noon because you can hide under a small bridge and not get all tanned up. Well, I am definitely a pinay, there is no need for me to get a tan. 🙂

I also love their food, delicious and not so pricey. They also offer a buffet lunch for P1,250 (actually, this is the price if you want to spend your day here in Costabella without a room, you get to eat in their buffet lunch which has lots of choices). But for us, since we already ordered some burgers and quesadillas earlier during our morning pool session, we are still slightly full and does not need to dig up in their buffet, we just ordered ala carte (got to use up the P3,000 consumable! :-). Here is Sai playing around while waiting for the food, and Ate Rei already sleepy.

Here are more pics from this day. We have here a room for kids to play “Kiddie Korner”. A photo of what I am seeing while resting in their poolside lounge chairs. A very yummy juice from lunch earlier. And my new pool ride!

Until next time Costabella! Of course, this will never be the last time, never! 🙂
