Our eighth entry in this blog is our trip to Mactan Alfresco at The Mactan Newtown in Lapulapu City.  We went here for lunch on a working day, Monday. There were just a few number of peeps and families dining that day so I am glad that it was not crowded 🙂 Here is my crew waiting for our food.  We decided to order at Oyster Bay Express since we have already tried Meximama and Choobi-Choobi the previous times we visited for dinner.

Mactan Alfresco looks like a giant gazebo that houses different dining establishments in a hawker-style setting similar to that of Singapore.  It is a covered open-air food strip designed to showcase authentic Cebuano cooking and cuisine.

Located near the grand entrance of The Mactan Newtown, the Mactan Alfresco is easily seen from the Sto. Nino de Cebu-Mactan Parish.  Here is a photo of the current developments and buildings near the food court.

We will definitely visit this place specially when all the developments are complete 🙂 See you next time Alfresco!
