Our Trip to The Summer House

Our sixteenth entry in this blog is our trip to The Summer House in Sogod, Cebu.  This is our second visit to this place, first was just December of last year (2015) for Rei’s 3rd birthday.  This time, we are celebrating our first ever reunion for Ayco Clan (relatives from my mom’s side). We stayed here for 2 nights (P10,000/night good for 15 pax, excess of 300 per pax/night).  We only payed P23,600 for 2 nights for a total of 21 adults and 5 children. 🙂 So that is just around a thousand pesos each adult. 🙂 That is a very good price for 2 nights of private accommodation as compared to beach resorts in Mactan where you have to pay almost 8k per night for two persons with breakfast. That’s shy we love this place 🙂

We love the pool. You can jump-in anytime since you own the place for a day. hehehe… It also has its own mini waterfalls. Rei and Sai does not want to get out of the pool, but only when they are hungry. Since the house is fronting a beach, you can also enjoy the sea waters while watching sunrise and sunset. Karaoke area is also one of our faves. Singing our hearts out all day long is not a problem.

The house has 3 big rooms inside the house itself, and 2 bigger rooms in a separate structure fronting the playground.  We also love the playground. The last time we were here, they had a mini trampoline.  I wonder where did it go now.  Kid’s playground have the seesaw, 2-storey house with slide, and Rei’s favorite swing. Perfect time to play here is early morning, when the sun is not so hot, and late afternoon, when the cold air surrounds the area. But for these kids, perfect time is all the time.  We just switched from pool to playground then pool again, then playground, and the cycle goes on.

We brought with us our own food.  Mostly ingredients for the sumptuous meals planned.  Each family had a scheduled assignment.  Who’s who for breakfast, lunch, and dinner preps.  The house is complete with utensils and equipments.  Just don’t forget to bring ice cream! 🙂

We also celebrated Charlise Avery’s 3rd birthday (late celebration) and we love the Tinkerbell themed cake (and did you noticed the wings our little girls are wearing? hehehe…) 🙂 Here are some photos of the house and us.
