Our seventeenth entry in this blog is our trip to Blue Reef resort in Marigondon, Mactan, Cebu. We visited on a Sunday for Father’s Day and it was quite crowded but still we had fun. We brought with us foods for family salo-salo. I love this kind of gatherings. I always remember the old days where we gather up and eat lunch at a public beach. As a kid in those days, I do not care if the area is crowded or dirty as long as I get to eat and I get to jump in to the beach with cousins and relatives. Here is our little Rei who does not want to get out from her salbabida with Ate Kakai. Sai is also playing with water in his feet. I did not let him swim this time, he got some mild flu.

This is our second visit. I forgot when was the first time. We always visit here for day use only so we haven’t tried their room accommodations and other amenities. The area is big. Lots of cottages are available for rent. There are hammocks under those elevated cottages where you can relax and feel the cool waters touch your back specially during high tides. There are also rings where you can swing yourself and jump in the waters.

Here are more photos of the resort. They have a play area perfect for mini volleyball games. They also have several fun water slides. Karaoke units are also available. You can also use their grill if you wish to make barbecue on site.

That was a fun day. As always, we will visit again soon. 🙂
