Our Trip to The Blue Orchid Resort

Our thirty-third entry in this blog is our trip to The Blue Orchid Resort in Moalboal, South of Cebu.  It’s a small nice resort beside Hale Manna Coastal Gardens. We tried staying here to see if it is good to recommend it to Tita Karen’s wedding guests if Hale Manna is already full. Well, it was OK. But not for families with kids who wants TV and some movies during the night before going to bed. hehehe… The rooms does not have a TV, but I think only 1 room has it, their honeymoon suite. Other than that, the place is very nice and cozy. The family room is clean and uniquely designed to have mosquito nets where Ate Rei calls it her own Princess Bed.

The resort also has no shoreline. If you go down to the beach directly facing the resort, lots of rocks and corals are there. Not really safe for small kids but very nice during high tides. Well, it is a perfect place for people who wants peaceful relaxations and away from any technologies. And of course, perfect for people who’s main purpose to go to Moalboal is to dive.

We were not able to use their pool, or order anything from their canteen because most of the time, we stayed at Hale Manna. But it was a good resort. Nice and heartwarming.
