Our 44th entry in this blog is our trip to Cosmo World Amusement Park in Yokohama, Japan. We’ve been here multiple times already but as always, I was lazy to get photos before, it’s just now that I have several photos, because my phone is somewhat new. Hihihi… 🙂 On our way to the CosmoWorld area, we got off at Sakuragicho station, walked by the bridge since Ate Rei and Sai loves to walk on bridges. And had lunch at World Porters Mall.

Located in the heart of Minato Mirai, Yokohama CosmoWorld is an amusement park famous for its prominent image on the Yokohama skyline. It is reasonably priced, very accessible and extremely family friendly. (-yokohamajapan.com)

CosmoWorld is divided into three zones according to age appropriateness. With its waterfront view on all ends, it is scenic and beautiful by day and the lighting make it a romantic place to walk at night. Sai’s favorite rides are all here! Cars, buses, trains, and Anpanman.

CosmoWorld has no entrance charge. Customers pay by the individual ride or attraction. My favorite area is the one with UFO Catchers, I used to play it a lot and never failed to get some goodies. The area is huge and lots of rides are available for adults and kids.

We went to the area where small kids can ride. “The children’s area is extensive and features a number of family-friendly rides in the “Kids Carnival Zone,” with features appropriate even for the youngest ages. Family members are allowed to accompany them on the rides. There is also a two-level merry-go-round, several car-and train-riding attractions, and the Cycle Monorail, which gives brave kids the opportunity for a bird’s eye view of the area. A kids’ game arcade called Cosmo-Fantasia Kids includes plenty of games and machines geared towards the younger audience.” (-yokohamajapan.com)

After all those fun rides and games, we went to one of the nearby malls, ate ice cream, and walked back to Sakuragicho station to ride a train home. 🙂
