Our Trip to Mactan Newtown

Our 54th entry in this blog is our trip to Mactan Newtown in LapuLapu City, Cebu. The Mactan Newtown is a master-planned 28-hectare township of a “One-Stop Destination of  Work-Live-Play-Learn Lifestyle”. Home to luxury residential condominiums, high tech business hubs, and upscale leisure centers. We have been visiting Mactan Newtown several times specially when we dine at Mactan Alfresco.  But this is our first time to stay in its high-rise luxury condo, special thanks to Auntie Leonor and Antie Zenia who have a 1-bedroom unit in one of these buildings. Here is the crew while going to the condo and while exploring the lobby. 🙂

The very main reason why we stayed is the infinity pool.  I think this is Ate Rei and Sai’s first time to swim in a pool atop a big building. Achievement unlocked! 🙂 Here we have the 2 kiddos and us having the pool all by ourselves.

Aside from the perfect view from our room overlooking the sea, they also have a playground, gym and spa.  Here is Ate Rei and Sai exploring the gym and asking so many things about what is this and that.

After our pool fun, the kids did not have time to sleep, or rather does not want to sleep.  They are both excited to go to the playground!  The play area is mid-sized and the play equipments are nice and sturdy that even us adults enjoyed playing.

After playing, dinner time!  We walked to the very near Mactan Alfresco.  There are already lots of choices as compared to the last time we ate here.  But we still love chooby chooby and ordered most of our meals there.  There are several jeepneys with tables inside and a good and unique spot to dine.

By morning, we went to the beach. Yay! Sai is very excited to play in the sand though he hates going in to the waters.  Just loving the sand.  🙂  But we all went dipping in the cold waters and enjoyed beach day.

And that ends up our trip to Mactan Newtown. After beach, we went back to our room and rest for a while before heading back to our home in Basak LapuLapu, just 20 mins away. 🙂
