Our 58th entry in this blog is our trip to Tokyo Disney Land in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan. This is Ate Rei and Sai’s third time to visit the happiest place on Earth. This time, Ate Rei is dressed as Rapunzel and Sai is a race car driver, the Lightning McQueen race car as he would always emphasize. We arrived early, like 10:00 AM, haha, yeah that’s early for us, and immediately checked in to our hotel, and got ready with the kids’ costumes. Here we have Ate Rei and Sai waiting for the bus, inside the bus, and finally, inside DisneyLand entrance.

The first part of our trip is the morning parade. The theme is Easter Spring. We are very lucky with our viewing area since we got the part under the shade of the trees, and we get to stand on the benches, so no problem with other people’s heads. Here are some of the floats during the parade. And these are Sai’s favorite ones. With Mickey Mouse and Pluto, and the one with a trapeze-like act from Peter Pan and Wendy.

And of course, Ate Rei’s favorite float, are the ones with princesses on it. We have here her favorite beauties: Rapunzel, Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora.

Since the weather was perfect, sunny but not so hot, we toured the area without much fuzz. We went back to our favorite rides, like the “It’s a small world” and “Haunted Mansion”, and we made sure to add rides that we have not yet tried before. Like the train ride around the park (The Western River Railroad), where a surprise for Sai awaits, a view of the dinosaurs. For me that was quite scary since it was dark but Sai loved it so much he wants to go back to the train ride again.

Another new ride we tried is Mark Twain Riverboat ride. This was quite relaxing since you do not have to fall in line for a long time. As long as you line up, you can get over the big boat. “Board the Mark Twain Riverboat, an elegant, 3-deck “floating palace,” for a cruise around the Rivers of America. It’s even more romantic at night when the steamboat is all lit up!”

During this trip, we were not alone, we are joined with the family of Tito Mellerz and Tito RC. We have here a photo of Ate Rei and RaiRai in her Belle Costume. And some of our fave rides, the Carousel (look at Sai’s face!), Winnie the Pooh, Buzz Light Years, Teacup Party, and of course, It’s a Small World.

During the night, while resting along the sidewalks of the park, we see the parade of lights and the kids have barely enough energy staying alive. hahaha! But still, this is my favorite part. Just look at all these gorgeous floats…

And here is the gang while waiting for the morning parade.

And that is our trip to Tokyo Disney Land. I just wrote the highlights but a lot of fun things happened. π Until next time Disney!
