Our Trip to Yomiuriland

Our 65th entry in this blog is our trip to Yomiuriland in Inagi, Tokyo, Japan.  This is everyone’s first time in such as fun park.  I have lived near this area for almost 6 years while I was still working in Japan, but I never had the chance to visit it because…. I dunno.  hahaha! I just thought it is just for kids.  But it’s not.  Most of the rides are very scary.  Starting of with the Gondola ride.  I’m quite bit afraid of heights so this is already scary for me.

It’s as if we are the only ones who are going to this park.  It was quiet and so huge we only see few people walking around.  But we arrived very early though…

The first stop was the restaurant. 🙂 Of course!  We need to fuel up our bodies first before riding all kiddie fun rides.  The restaurant is so neat, food is also delicious but only few choices are available.  Their theme as of this time is still halloween… hoooo… spooky.  We enjoyed this day with Tita Joana, Rai Rai and baby Rachel, and Tita Joni, my company mate, hehe, from Lexmark.

Next stop… and forever stop… rides!  We enjoyed the “guru guru drive”, “naughtiness railroad Oliver music party” (what kind of name is that?), and “animal coaster”.

We also went to their free kids park area where Ate Rei, Sai, and RaiRai enjoyed the mini slides.  And also the “sweets cup” and the “jura chic car” (OMG, they really have weird and funny ride names. haha!).

We also had the “space jet”, but I did not ride it.  I am not a fan of spinning on air.  And the “spin drive”, one of Sai’s favorite ride.

While waiting for the park’s illumination, we continued to ride the “kadokeshi tram” (that was tiring!) and the “kuru kuru compass”, another spinning on air ride, so yes, I did not ride that. 🙂  And that big Looping Starship? Nope, we did not ride that.  Maybe these kids will not be afraid to ride that someday.

Jewellumination has finally started and we are all in awe!  I have never seen so many lights in my life. haha!  Everyone enjoyed it very much.

The entire park is really lighted up to the very small detail.

But still, even when it’s nighttime, Ate Rei, Sai, and RaiRai still are so busy with the rides.  They kept on repeating their favorite rides.  The rides looked so amazing specially with all these illuminations.

So that was our whole day enjoying all the rides we can get from the park.  I did not post all rides we did since, laziness strikes sometimes. hehehe.  Until next time Yomiuriland!  You are now part of our favorite list of fun places!
