Our 71st entry in this blog is our trip to Playlab, a play area located inside Robinsons Galleria Mall in Cebu.  This is Ate Rei and Papa Dave’s second time to visit this play area.  The first time was when our little boy Sai was so tired touring the mall and decided to sleep.  So while waiting for him to wake up, Ate Rei and Papa D went inside and explored it themselves.  But now, everybody gets a happy face as we go inside this unique play room.  Here are the gang so much ready to go inside.

Below we have the Tap ’n’ Glow where you can create unique color and rhythm combinations through touch-sensitive light modules, and watch your work illuminate the space.  Quantum Space where you can create abstract art through movements, interaction and boundless imagination. Music Wall where you get to explore a plethora of sounds with just a tap of your hand. And the Sand Box where you can dig through the sand and explore the hidden wonders of the Earth through augmented reality.

Next we tried Sai’s fave, the slide.  Also known as Poppin’ Pond where you can be one with nature as you slip and slide down the pond of fun.  Save the Reef where you get to help save Mother Nature by protecting our precious reefs from pesky and harmful trash.  And the one with our little Sai and the big balls.  He is already sweaty even inside a full blast aircon room. hehehe…

This one’s quite fun.  Your face changes with different zodiac signs.  Ate Rei gets to be a monkey and a dragon, while Sai always gets the pig even though he wants to be a dragon.  Papa D got the monkey and rat, while I also got the pig zodiac face. 🙂

Ate Rei’s fave is the Live Forest where you get to fill the digital forest with animals straight from the drawing board to the screen.  We really had fun creating weird faces and colors with different animals and see them walk around us.  So cool. 🙂

And this is Papa D’s personal favorite, Butterfly Garden where you can watch as your creations take flight in a visually stunning world full of butterflies.  I colored all of my butterflies red to see if it can conquer the entire screen.  I am not good with live butterflies as I am afraid of insects, it’s good that I get to interact with them here, and gets to design my own. 🙂

Indeed time flies when you are having fun.  We did not notice that it was already becoming late and we are hungry.  We hope to be back soon.
