Our 73rd entry in this blog is our trip to Happy Beach in Mactan, Cebu. This is everyone’s first time and it already is Ate Rei and Sai’s favorite beach. We are supposed to visit for Sai’s 4th birthday but due to uncooperative weather, we have postponed it 2 weeks after. But still, look at the faces of these two as we will finally go to the happiest beach!

We first went to the docking area, but was hold off due to big waves, so going there through boat was delayed. Since I am worried that the kids will not like the pump boat ride anyway due to the dangerous waves, we did not hesitate to go inside via Tambuli properties. But we did pay P2,500 for all of us in Tambuli just to pass and go to the resort. That was not so nice but still we arrive as happy and excited as ever!

Everything was clean, an no other crowds yet so Yay! Ate Rei here is looking at all the inflatables. Unfortunately, she does not want to try them as she is still scared. We just went near them as it was low tide and enjoyed the colorful unicorn rides.

After touring the place, we went to their guest counters to confirm booking. We love the sofa-slash-swing. We booked a day bed with food, and a room for overnight stay.

And here below is our day bed, and the food is definitely yummy. Sai is so happy he even got to eat some fries. The food was served uniquely inside a pink boat. And the area is full of Ate Rei’s fave colors: pink, yellow, and purple.

Pool time was fun since there were only few people though it is just a simple and small pool. But still, combined with cool songs and Sai’s dance moves while in the pool, it was indeed a Happy Pool.

As we got tired under the heat of the sun, we are ready for another round of foods. Lunch! We had barbecued pork and fried chicken, all yummy and filled our hungry stomachs.

Our juice is soooo big! And yummy and cold… After our lunch, Ate Rei and Sai started to play with their sand toys.

And since it is already noon, it has become so hot to stay outside our big umbrella. We went to our rooms to rest for the afternoon. And look at our room! Sooo pink! I just love it. It is so rare that a hotel can accommodate us in 1 room unless we opt for something like a villa. But here, we can comfortably fit in just one room. Cool. 🙂

After our afternoon rest, we went back outside to the pool and watch the dance showdowns. It was all fun. The crews danced with the mascot and the pro dancers. It made us all feel happy and welcome.

I wondered if they are doing the dances daily? They said yes they do. Wow! Surely a fun place to be in. Here we have Ate Rei and Sai enjoying the shows and making sure to pose with the dancers and mascot.

While Goya, Lolo and Sai are having their siesta in the room, Ate Rei and I toured the other areas for some shots. Look at the purple sand pillows. Sooo cozy. And the sofas outside the rooms are a perfect area for relaxation. It’s nice to sleep under the tall palm trees.

We went back to the room along with Ate Rei’s collection of shells. A happy girl at a happy beach.

It is almost time for dinner and we went back to the pool area to dine in a restaurant near it. The pool now looks so cool with some lights. A nice view for dining out.

The decorations of their restaurant is really cute. Pink flamingos and green lanterns with leaves. Food is also yummy and not so expensive. I was not able to take good pictures of our sumptuous meal since we dined outside the area for a relaxing view of the sea and the pool lights.

And the night fire show began. That was an awesome show! Ate Rei and Sai’s first fire show dance and I also enjoyed it. We wanted to go back to the pool but as soon as we went back to our room, it felt so nice to sleep and rest. We’ll just have pool again tomorrow.

Early in the morning we had our breakfast and we walked around the place. It seems like we own the place since there are only a few of us here. I love places that are not crowded. Makes you really relax. We went back to the inflatables as we can still go near due to low tide.

And before we ended our visit to this Colorful Happy Beach, we went to the souvenir shop and it was surprising to see all of the items are pink and yellow! Sooo pretty and nice.

I really really wish to go back here… It was indeed a happy beach 🙂
