Our 96th entry in this blog is our trip to La Ville de Gaspard et Lisa. It is a small park beside Fuji-Q in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, Japan. We are not really familiar with these characters but Ate Rei already likes the white “dog-rabbit” (as she calls it) and Sai likes the black one as well.

This is a good place to stroll around, eat snacks with pastries and sweet yummy treats, and relax to a Paris-like ambiance. 🙂 So this is how it feels to be in Paris. hehehe…

There is an Eiffel Tower replica and a fountain (I wonder if it is also a replica of some place in France) surrounded by flowering gardens. And the lights shines at night too. But we did not wait for the light-up or illumination as it is really getting cold.

“Gaspard et Lisa, more commonly known as Gaspard and Lisa, are two fictional characters appearing in a series of children’s books created by wife and husband Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben. The books center on two friends: Gaspard (black with a blue scarf) and Lisa (white with a red scarf) who go on various adventures. Gaspard, Lisa and their family members are drawn as animals, but live among humans in Paris, with the titular characters attending an ordinary school alongside human characters.” -wiki

There were also some attractions such as the mirror maze which is our little Sai’s favorite, he always talks about it! 🙂 And the pastries in the cafe are all yummy and delicious but a little bit pricey. Maybe it really is pricey in Paris. hehe… 🙂

And that was our quick stay in Gaspard et Lisa park and we really enjoyed it. Relaxing but just super cold this day! hehe… 🙂
