Our 95th entry in this blog is our trip to Thomas Land in Yamanashi, Japan.  The park is located inside another bigger park, the Fuji-Q Highland.  This is said to be the world’s first theme park based on Thomas and Friends.  Aside from the popular TV show Peppa Pig, our little Sai is also a fan of Thomas the Train.  He already have several collection of small trains from the said TV series and Sai can name all of the major train characters.  🙂  When we entered the Fuji-Q Highland park, we were greeted by a sign leading to Thomas Land.  Just follow the Blue Line 🙂

We have finally arrived at Thomas Land and so excited to try all the rides.  🙂

We have tried rides like the Mischiveous Cranky where a big lever takes the entire bus on a round spin.  First ride and our stomach feels funny now!  And the red car one is the Hopping Winston where the car bounces all around. Second ride and it feels very dizzy.  These are torture rides for me. hehehe 🙂  And the mini roller coaster ride is the Bulstrode Roller Ride.  Third ride and I’m done. haha! Roller coasters are really not my thing.

One of the unique ride is the Thomas’ Happy Smile.  I really thought it was just a wall design at first, I did not expect it to be a ride as well.

Everybody was busy trying all the rides and did not even bother about getting some snacks.  I’m quite hungry now.  Here, Ate Rei, Sai, and Papa Dave are busy posing with different character monuments decorated with Halloween colors and autumn leaves.  Nice weather today by the way 🙂

Finally headed to the restaurant for a quick bite.  Our little Sai does not even want to get inside, he wants to immediately go to the next ride.  The menu are such cuties.  Ate Rei is so excited to try her Halloween spaghetti with a scary bread bun and a mini white ghost.  Yum!

After food break, we then continued with the rides and some souvenir shops.

And that was our trip to Thomas Land.  Our little Sai is happy that he saw his idols Thomas and Friends in real-life sizes.  And not just see them, he got to ride all of them.  Until next time!
