Our 103rd entry in this blog is our trip to Lake Kawaguchiko aboard a sightseeing boat Ensoleillé. This is located at Funatsuhama by the Lake Kawaguchiko – 10 minutes on foot from Kawaguchiko Station. We even met Malifecent on the boat. See? hehe 🙂

Ensoleillé means “Sunshine” in French. It was built on the image of a lakeside resort in southern Europe. Their first floor cabin is equipped with a table and couches for us to relax during the cruise. We stayed here most of the time because of the cold winds outside. Still it is a relaxing way to view the surrounding area of the lake.

If you sit outside, you can enjoy the magnificent Mt. Fuji and the panoramic 360-degree view. It is unfortunately cloudy today, so there is not much view of the great Mount Fuji. The rear section of the boat is covered by the canopy. This area is wheelchair-accessible so that wheelchair users can enjoy the cruise comfortably.

It’s a relaxing cruise, and a perfect place for us to rest our feet from all the walking and sightseeing around Kawaguchiko area. How I wish it is sunny today for us to enjoy Mount Fuji view. This photo below is not mine, I got it from google, but it would really look amazing on a fine sunny day like this!

Hope we can have this kind of view when we visit again soon. Wishing… 🙂
