Our 114th entry in this blog is our trip to Maayo San Remegio in Northern Cebu. This is everyone’s first time and this serves as our outing and celebration for our little Sai’s 5th birthday last Jan 15.
And that is our little PaSaiSai in red birthday shorts. 🙂 San Remigio is a municipality three hours away from Cebu City. It is one of the most visited towns in Central Visayas being the gateway to and from Bantayan Island through the Hagnaya Wharf. Maayo San Remegio is a 2.7 hectare resort in Barangay Victoria under Maayo Hotel flagship.

The place is indeed very relaxing, quiet, peaceful, and no crowds at all. This is a good place to spend outside Cebu City as it is very crowded now because of the Sinulog festival. Just look at that infinity pool 🙂

Ate Rei is sooo much in love with the rooms. Her favorite, as she calls it her dream bed, is a double deck bed. hehe 🙂 She is so happy to sleep on one with everyone in the same room. The rooms are big and can accommodate us all 4 adults and 2 kids.

Since we arrived early, noontime after our lunch at Jollibee in Bogo City, we immediately suit up for the pool and also took pictures of the vast garden and grand sea views.

All corners of this resort is a good place to rest and perhaps meditate. Lots of benches, swings, “duyans”, and instagrammable spots.

We finally have our dip in the pool and as always, everyone loves the pool. The little birthday boy is happy 🙂 It seems like we are the only ones here. Nice! Sai loves to jump in the small pool and Ate Rei loves lying on her back on the colorful bed chairs, or whatever that is called. hehe…

We spent several hours in the pool and out, and in again, and out 🙂 Water is indeed so relaxing. Gooya and Ate Gin were also sleeping on those bed chairs as we are strolling around the pool area.

Our room is very near the pool area so it is easy for us to jump to the pool whenever we like. Here is Gooya and Lolo relaxing in the veranda waiting for something, maybe snacks? 🙂

And it is dinner time. We had a dinner buffet with lots of yummy foods, my favorite seafoods 🙂 After eating, we head back to our room, watched a movie “Jurassic Park” as requested by our little PaSaiSai. And slept for tomorrow’s another set of pool time.

Before checking out and leaving for Cebu City, lots of photos taken again in the area. 🙂 It was fun staying here are Maayo San Remegio. We wish to be back again soon!
