Our 119th entry in this blog is our trip to our ever favorite park, Showa Kinen Park in Tachikawa, Japan. This time it is very very Autumn π

Most of our photos here are all yellow. Isn’t these amazing? Autumn has always been a favorite season of mine not just for its color but also for its weather π

And here is Ate Rei, little Sai, and Papa Dave posing with the yellow trees. π The park is quite crowded but since it is huge, it doesn’t seem so.

On our way to the playground, we passed by a pond where lots of paddle boats are already busy in the waters. We wished to rent a bicycle today but all of it are rented out! Even with these boats.

But walking is still the best option as you can see lots of beautiful scenes along the way. Like all of these flowers π

And finally we arrived at the play area. This is just one of the very many play area in this park. And almost all of them are crowded at these times. It is weekend and the sun is shining bright indeed. π

Ate Rei and little Sai are so happy to be playing here. Even though they cannot understand what these other kids are saying. neh? Just look at those happy and excited faces.

After the play, we went into the Japanese garden. And oh, it is not just yellow in here… there are lots of reds, and oranges.

The Japanese garden is also quite big. Every corner gives you a picturesque scene. π

Every time we come here in Showa Kinen Park, we always fail to visit all the areas of the park. It’s just crazy big!

Moving on from the Japanese Garden to look for another area to play. We arrived here so late, like lunch time already, and it’s almost sunset. huhu… Next time we should be early.

We arrived at another play area, the net one. But was not able to take a photo of it much. Actually my phone got low battery. hehe π But still was able to capture these golden moments, very yellow leaves because of the sunset.

Its almost time to leave. When we got back to the station it was already dark. We got to see Tachikawa Stations’ Christmas Tree. Until next time Show Kinen. Hopefully we can rent a bike next time. π
