Our 127th entry in this blog is our trip to Tsuzuki Chuo Park in Kanagawa, Japan. It is everyone’s first time to visit here. Actually, we just happened to see this park while walking around Center Minami area, not really knowing its name or what is in store for us to see here. The day is too beautiful and sunny to just spend it in malls, so we decided to walk a little farther and stumbled in this pretty park š

It has little torii gates which means there must be a shrine somewhere here… Unfortunately I was not able to take a photo of it or actually see it. We changed our route to an easier one. haha! My knee hurts with all those stairs!

So we continued walking on the left side (after those torii gates) and thanked for the flat plains. The trees, which most of them are bare, looked scary. Our little Sai always calls them the Halloween trees.

There is also a pond where lots of ducks are happily swimming. My photo did not give justice to the very nice Autumn-colored trees around the pond though. We went here quiet late already, it may be sunset in a while.

But look at all those colors… All for us! This park is so quiet I am sure you can relax in here, just sitting under the trees and listen to the birds chirping š There is no one else around, aside from some lone photographers we sometimes see in the deeper part of the park.

And from all those trees, we saw a very wide arena. I am not sure if these are still being used. This would be a great area for street performances kind of things. Maybe they are still using this during summer š

Since it is getting a bit dark already, we went back to the station in Center Minami. We hope to visit this park again with longer time to see the other parts of the park. š
