Our 138th entry in this blog is our Nth time trip to our favorite park, Kodomo No Kuni. This place has been featured in this blog for like 4 times already, but we always visit this park more times than that. Everytime we like to go out and have not decided on a place, we always end up here. 🙂

As you can see from the photos, today is a perfect day for a park stroll. Very sunny, cold, but not freezing. For this visit, we decided not to follow our usual route, which we always go first to the farm animals. This time, we go to the left side of the park first. The photo above is the drawing square. It is the center of the park, right after the main entrance. Most of the activities and shows are held here.

But of course, we always have a stop over at our favorite play area. This play area is actually called the Time Travel Playground for some reasons I do not know. hehe… Today, the open field is full of campers. Hope we can try camping here someday! 🙂

We passed by the Mini SL Taiyo, the one with the red train for toddlers to ride. Then the Central Square with cute play areas for babies and toddlers as well. There is also a mini wall climbing area for kids. Seems like Ate Rei and Sai are not in the mood for these mini games.

And then, lo and behold, we saw this big long slide and Ate Rei and Sai are so excited to try it that they did not mind the almost 1-hour-long line for the slide. It is called the 110m Rolling Slide. And yes, they surely did it! Happy and proud. Proud that they have the patience for that line. They even want to try it again but the line is sooo much longer this time.

Next we visited the swan pond and boating area but we did not get to ride one since it also has a long line. People are so happy to go out today and they are all in this park. We moved to another spot which we have not yet visited. It is the plum garden. There are already white plum blossoms and some pink ones. We are happy to finally reach this area. And it is good that not a lot of people are camping here. Peace and quiet. 🙂

So here we are, happily strolling back and forth under the plum blossoms 🙂

We continued with our nature walks around the park. We even saw a warning sign for snakes. Yikes! After we saw that, we want to go back down. hehe…

And then… we saw this big red suspension bridge out of nowhere! We did not even notice this bridge while we were strolling in the lower area. We liked it so much that we stayed here a bit longer. 🙂

And then, we headed back down as it is almost sunset. We were getting hungry 🙂 But… we saw some kids playing around with hoola hoops that you can freely borrow from the park. That is just amazing! And some outdoor toys that you can use to jump around (which we do not know how to use. hehehe). Then after that, we went back to our station and settled down for dinner, in our fave Hawaiian Resto. 🙂 Until next time fave park!
