Our Trip to Marine & Walk Yokohama

Our 139th entry in this blog is our first time trip to Marine & Walk Yokohama, a shopping area in Sakuragicho, Yokohama, Japan.

But before we go to the famous open air mall, we stopped at Yokohama Hammerhead? I don’t even know if that is the real name of the mall nearby but we did go there to find ourselves sumptuous lunch. And voila! Perfect lunch at Hungry Tiger. Yummy but expensive, yikes!

And everyone is so pumped up right after lunch. Our little Sai is so active and excited to stroll around. I don’t know where he gets his energy from, he only ate fries. Poor Sai, he’s already 6 years old and he is the only one I know who doesn’t like food. Dude! You need to eat something!

And we are now heading to mall we’ve never been before, although this place, Sakuragicho, is our favorite place to go to on weekends, we rarely reach this side of the area. Our photos did not do any justice, the place is really cool, feels like we are in Los Angeles!

The place is small. But it feels nice to walk around an open air, near the waters, for shopping. Except that we are not here to shop, as always. We don’t have budget for that. We just came here to visit the place and see what’s in store. hehe 🙂

So that was just it. A little stroll here and there, more oohs and aahs on nice things, and getting shocked on its price tags. lol. Well at least we get to stay and walk here for a while, feeling like rich celebrities shopping to kill time. That was a nice stroll indeed. Until next time Marine & Walk! 🙂
