Our Trip to Cebu White Sands Resort and Spa

Our 156th entry in this blog is our day tour trip to Cebu White Sands. This is Ate Rei and Sai’s first time to visit this resort. This is just beside the Maribago Bluewaters resort which is also one of our faves.

Cebu White Sands is a private family-owned resort hotel located on the east coast of Mactan Island. I’m not sure if I’m right but I think this is one of the first resorts in Mactan. But that’s just because I have already heard about it even when I was still a kid. hehe…

I haven’t actually tried staying overnight here, it’s always a day trip visit. But maybe we’ll try soon as the rooms are all nice. Our little Sai always ‘demands’ for a room everytime we go in a resort. He loves the comfy beds. πŸ™‚

The resort has 86 guest rooms spread across 3 main wings. I think we stayed in the Heritage Wing for the day. With a rustic yet cozy ambiance reminiscent of traditional Filipino homes, these rooms are situated near the pool / mini-forest and all have private balconies overlooking the resort’s beachfront. The other areas are known as Courtyard Wing and Mabuhay Wing. The pool is not crowded. We enjoyed it so much. πŸ™‚

Tita JinJin and family is also with us. Here is cute little Zara enjoying the relaxing place πŸ™‚

Main part of the day is the food. It was yummy and service is fast. In this resort is where I first tried the banana boat ride. But we are not riding it today. We strolled the area and saw lots of birds and fishes.

The Courtyard Wing have Japanese koi ponds located in and around the Courtyard Villa. The fishes are all so big already. Very amazing to see πŸ™‚

We mostly spent our day in the pool, just swimming and relaxing. I haven’t been to the Mabuhay Wing. I believe they have wider rooms in there. And they have a new restaurant called Room 801, a rooftop bar and restaurant.
And that was our quick day trip to Cebu White Sands. Since we just live nearby, (maybe just a 20 minute car ride), we hope to be back soon! πŸ™‚
