Our 157th entry in this blog is our 3rd time trip to Cebu Safari and Adventure Park in Carmen, Cebu. We were here last 2018 and 2019, but failed to visit last year 2020 due to the pandemic lockdowns. But not to worry, it is has now been opened, and of course, here we are again!

And indeed this zoo/park never fails to amaze us. 🙂 Ate Rei and Sai are so happy they met the king of the jungle as close as possible. I bet it can swallow our little Sai whole. hehehe

The Capybaras are now bigger than the last time we saw them. They look more scary, big rodents, but still they are harmless. The lamas and, is that an ostrich?, is also happy to see us. I hope. 🙂

It is quite rainy this day which makes some walk a little hard. But we are happy to see the fountain so lively with water. Sometimes we don’t get to see it with water running but gladly it is now. 🙂 We got to see it up close and took more photos than usual. hehe.

Because of the rain and drizzles, we get to spend a lot of time in places with roofs. Roof and foods. So we did a lot of eating as well, hehehe. 🙂

As soon as rain stops for a while, we take a walk again at the nearest interesting spot. This time, we are now at the orchids and flower gardens. This is Gooya’s favorite area among all the other areas in the park.

Cousin baby Hearty is enjoying the long walks. She enjoys holding hands with Ate Rei and do very long walks without complaints. Good job Hearty!

We are not just joined by Tita Karen, Tito Doudou, and Hearty. But we also met with Tita Jinjin, Tito MG, Zoey and baby Zara. Since mobile signal is very hard this day, maybe because of the rain, we were not able to meet along our safari trek, but we all met at the bird show. We all enjoyed the bird show specially little cousins Zoey and Zara.

We proceed with the crocs and turtles area where baby Hearty is happy to see them all. And of course, since it is drizzling again, a little rest with ice cream. 🙂

The African Savannah trip was still enjoyable even with the rain. We are glad that some of the animals still went out to greet us. But some are resting and hiding in their sheds.

We continued walking and saw more and more animals that Hearty is happy about. She gets to name every animal she met. 🙂 Hopefully she will remember them all.

So that was our quick visit to Cebu Safari on a rainy day. We did a lot of walking and eating while hiding from the rain. hehe 🙂 I am very sure to visit next year. Hope we can do this every year. Looking forward to it. Yay! 🙂
