Our 159th entry in this blog is our trip to Maribago Bluewater Resort in Mactan, Cebu with our Ayco side relatives. That is my side of the family. We are joined by Gooya’s brother Lolo Ebyong and his family. :- ) Yay!

This is not our first time here in this resort as this has been one of our faves here in Mactan, but this is the first time we stayed here for bonding with my cousins Irish and Idyll and their families. Perfect bonding time as this is also Tita Karen’s birthday celebration. 🙂

The kids enjoyed their bonding time with cousins as well as relaxing beside the pool, eating delicious lunch and Tita Karen’s birthday cake as dessert. Yum.

Tita Karen got a room for us to standby and watch TV, and they are also staying here overnight. Baby Hearty will be very happy as she gets to spend more time in the pool.

As most of the oldies are staying under the shade of the giant tree, and catching up with one another’s latest news, the youngsters and the kids explored the resorts beach side and played with the giant chess, swing, seesaw, and played in their white sandy shores.

We stayed here for day use only. My cousins live in Talisay City and will still have a long drive home. We are glad to spend time with them during this pandemic, and we are also glad the resort is not crowded for today 🙂

We have here our 2-year old Hearty, still afraid of walking along the sand as she doesn’t like the feel of sand on her feet. hehehe. 🙂

But baby Hearty is a very good swimmer in the pool. Kudos to this little girl. We also have here the siblings Gooya and Lolo Ebyong, just spending time chit chatting and sleeping by the pool.

Our little Sai is enjoying his time making sand castles, or some sand pits (as I don’t see any castles in there. hehehe) Touching sand is rare activity for him as he doesn’t like to spend much time by the beach, but he loves pool, just like Hearty.

We are here by the beach side with the kids Ate Rei, little Sai, baby Heart, Pinpin and Kuya Bonbon. It’s a perfect day for the beach as it is not very windy and the sun’s heat is just right 🙂

Since we got here early for the day use, we also went out early to find another place for dinner. We had an early dinner at Mactan Alfresco where it is an open food court and can fit us all 🙂 That was one day well spent with precious relatives. Hope we can do this more often 🙂
