Our Trip to Cebu Ocean Park

Our 162nd entry in this blog is our 3rd time visit to Cebu Ocean Park. The last time we visited was 2019, before the pandemic. Since we are still in pandemic right now, there are not a lot of people inside exhibits, which makes this a perfect time to visit 🙂

The yellow fishes are now growing big. I bet they are happy to see people visiting them. hehehe. 🙂

The Cebu Ocean Park has been accepting kid visitors just recently. So we are expecting to have lots of kid visitors around. Surprisingly, I think it is just us, as of this time. 🙂

We had lots of time watching the fishes as there are no crowds at all. We looked at the exhibits one by one, and read through their descriptions.

They also have other animals, not just fishes. They do have creepy crawlies as well, just like in Manila Ocean Park. I bet this cutie iguana is very happy to see us visiting him 🙂 The ocean park is divided into several sections exhibiting both marine and terrestrial wildlife.

We enjoyed watching the indoor tanks/exhibits. These area usually have lots of small kids running around. Great timing for this day, peace and quiet. hehe 🙂 The Seven Seas features aquariums with fishes

I think not much have changed or added ever since we visited 2 years ago. Except that some of the fishes are bigger. This is the most time we spent here as we can stare at the fishes for a long time.

Oh now I noticed what has changed! Since there is not much people visiting the aquarium, my favorite iced tea is now unavailable. huhuhu. Before, this area have lots of people just sitting down and talking, while having some snacks.

We are always amazed by these sting rays. They look like they are flying instead of swimming.

This, we think, is our most amazing experience. It’s only us inside the oceanarium. Ate Rei and Sai is happy running around, back and forth, feels like they own the place. hehehe 🙂

There are lots fishes in this aquarium. We tried to count the number of kinds inside it. hehehe. That was impossible to count. Some of them looks the same but actually are not the same.

There is also another change that we noticed. They now have the aqua dining where you can eat delicious meals while looking at the fishes.

We are so happy we visited the aquarium this time. It was not stressful at all. And that is our quick trip to Cebu Ocean Park. Hope to visit again after this pandemic ends. 🙂
