Our Trip to Cebu Safari

Our 176th entry in this blog is our 4th time visit to our most loved zoo in Cebu, the Cebu Safari in Carmen, Cebu. Today is a holiday, it’s Cebu Charter Day. So we went back to Cebu Safari hoping that there are only few people since the holiday is just for Cebu City. Hehehe… There are still a lot of people 🙂 But nevertheless, we still enjoyed our visit.

We always want to start to the farthest attraction. The white lions. So we directly headed there as we rode on the tram 🙂

The white lions are still sleeping. But the other animals are already up and running. 🙂

We were expecting to feed the crocodiles this time as the pandemic rules have subsided. But it was quiet and there are no foods for them to eat. Maybe next time. 🙂

The turtles now are so big. And there are four of them already. The gang is complete! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles it is! 🙂 The ponies, or I think they are miniature horses are still so cute and short.

We stopped at the giraffe’s area to have our lunch. We enjoyed watching them while eating our delicious meals.

The fishes near the giraffe’s place are now bigger and much more many in population as compared to last time. 🙂

The ducks are still there, I bet they are fine. 🙂 and this special bird which we still don’t know the name, is still here. I wonder if she/he’s still the ones that greeted us the very first time we went here.

The llamas are also very friendly this time. They were hiding before when people get near them. Now, they are used to people and are no longer afraid to stay near us.

The only downside in this safari/zoo is the too-many-steps you can get in a day. Our senior citizens have difficulty coping up with our young ones. 🙂

But we worry not, as we always find a place where we can sit down and relax with nature. And also, while watching Safari’s Bird Show 🙂

The newest addition to Cebu Safari’s place is the garden. This is Gooya’s favorite place. It is like her DisneyLand. 🙂

I am also in awe of this place. I am not really a plantita but this place is really haven. Somehow, it makes you feel happy and in paradise! Minus the flying insects. 🙂

Gooya is slowly moving from one plant to the next as she tries to identify each one. Gooya should stay here for the whole day.

The caretakers told us that this part of the park is just halfway from the plan. Wow, there are more reasons for us to come back here indeed. 🙂

So that was our quick visit to the Safari and the Paradise Garden of Gooya. hehe 🙂 Until next time 🙂
