Our 180th entry in this blog is our trip to Minami Machida’s Grandberry Park. This is not our first time to come here, as this is just only one ride from our station, we always come here to play UFO Catcher. hehe. Although this is an outlet shop, we don’t usually shop as we don’t have money for that. haha! But we always have money for UFO catchers! lolz.

This is the Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station. A new gateway to the city. It is designed to integrate the city and the station and for people to experience nature in the planted area and water space. (I got that from their website. hehe). I used to come here before it got renovated into including Snoopy. This is such as big difference and I like the led stairs where advertisements can be seen.

This outlet shop is now a home to my fave dog Snoopy. The Snoopy Museum Tokyo is located here. Unfortunately, I haven’t been inside yet, as I am still thinking if it is worth the fee. hehe 🙂 The Snoopy Museum Tokyo has reopened becoming twice the size of the previous one in Roppongi! It introduces appealing features of Snoopy and his friends, the comic strip , and the creator Charles M. Schulz with original comic stripe, animation and more.

Automatically, Ate Rei and Sai goes to the UFO catcher area. They have already won a lot of plushies and bags in here in previous visits. But not today. Our budget is limited. hehe 🙂

They also have a food court which we always order the Ramen and Ice Cream. On top of this Food Picnic area, is another play area. We do not care much about the shops in here, we only come here for the entertainment. haha 🙂

There is also a children’s hall linked to Tsuruma Park, Machi Library, and Snoopy Museum Tokyo, where you can have unique experiences that you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. The playroom and infant room have Fun Walls where everyone can play and have fun.

Our favorite restaurant here is the American House Steak and Tacos. I love their pita paired with beef meat. So yum! The Park Plaza is a square where outdoor and sports events are held and which connects Tsuruma Park and the commercial facility. The lawn hill is a perfect spot where the park can be seen for resting after shopping and dining. Now it has the big Snoopy resting under the sun. Perfect spot for photos.

The Sawayaka Hiroba is the center area of the park where you can feel free to lay down and enjoy a picnic surrounded by lawns and trees and sit down on the terrace for relaxing time and enjoy events. You can use this place when you feel like doing something at a park. We brought our badminton racket here one time and enjoyed playing with them. There are also lots of play areas like swings and slides.

And that was our quick visit in our nearby outlet shop. We are surely gonna be back as this is also one of our fave places to go aside from Sakuragicho area. Until next time 🙂
