Our 200th (yay!) entry in this blog is our first time trip to Anjo World in Minglanilla, Cebu. This world class park was opened last December 2018, so yeah, we are sooo late in coming here. hehe. 🙂

Anjo World is an amusement park in Barangay Calajo-an in Minglanilla, Cebu. It is the largest theme park in the Visayas. The buildings are very colorful, we are so happy to have something like this here in Cebu.

We started our day with the arcade games. Gooya and Lolo were happy playing some games that reminded them of their childhood fiestas, the peryahan. Although we were not able to win prizes, Ate Rei and Sai were happy to use their skills and enjoyed every game we tried.

Our little Sai wants to make sure his shots are all played well. The counters are quite high so he requested to step over it. hehe 🙂

According to wiki, the realization of the project for the Anjo World Theme Park took five years. This is a mixed used development in Minglanilla, and described as the “first integrated family entertainment complex in Visayas and Mindanao”. The name of the theme park was derived from the names of the parents of Chester Lim (Belmont One’s president): Antonio and Josiefe Lim.

After our arcade games, we ate lunch inside the complex, and proceeded with the rides. We enjoyed the London Taxi ride. A bump-car ride which has always been my fave even as a kid. 🙂

I think they have a total of 12 rides as of this year. And since there are still spaces left, they will probably add some more as this themed park is always packed with guests from afternoon to evening. We arrived here very early (like 10am), so there is not much crowd yet.

Our favorite part was the Snow World. Enter a magical wonderland of snow! Yey! This is Cebu’s first ever, world-class Ice Theme Park that will let you experience winter as it is! It is really freezing inside so it is advisable to bring socks, better if you wear closed shoes. If you do wear sandals, your toes will definitely freeze. hehe 🙂

It’s always white Christmas in here. Even if it is scorching hot summer outside. hehe 🙂

We enjoyed the slide so much! I think I’m getting sick because of the cold. But totally enjoyed it!

After that freezing cold, we have no choice but to go back outside the summer heat. Haha! I’m sure someone’s going to be sick after this day. Anjo World covers an area of 1.5 hectares and is divided into four different zones namely: Africa, Americas, Asia, and Europe. We are now here at the baby Statue of Liberty. And some ice cream. 🙂

One of our fave is the bumper boat ride. We don’t only bump at each other on purpose, but shoot water guns on them. Next is we lined up for the Anjo Eye. The big Ferris wheel.

Opened to the public last November 2019, the Anjo Eye is the biggest Ferris Wheel in the Visayas, standing at 200-ft tall. It’s a 10-minute experience while sitting in a unit that’s spacious, air-conditioned, and has a relaxing music too.

The Anjo Eye is the perfect way to relax our feet. And the views are awesome. Thanks to a perfect sunny day!

Another moment for eating time! These kids are living the life! haha! 🙂
So that was our quick visit at Anjo World. We already planned to go back here this year with Tita Karen. See yah!
