Our 207th entry in this blog is our first time trip to 150 Peakway Mountain Resort in Dalaguete, Cebu. This is at least three hours drive from our place in Cebu City. We will be trying out the new and trending style of Glamping. This is Gooya’s advance birthday celebration. 🙂

We were really surprised at how spacious these domes are. It does not look big seeing it from the outside, but when you get inside, there is a big space for the bedroom and the toilet behind the bedroom area. 🙂

The moment we set foot on the area, we fell in love with it! 🙂 Gooya was so happy to try this kind of overnight stay that is not inside a usual hotel room. She even wants to have a house like this in Plaridel. haha!

The place is very relaxing. Not crowded at all. The other domes and tents are located just right, not too close and not too far 🙂 This place is sooo nice indeed. And we also get to have our own jacuzzi. Yay!

There is also a pool near the main building. But since we do not always have a Jacuzzi, we always use the one just outside our dome.

They also have villas. The Villa is a spacious accommodation that brings the comfort of a home into the highlands. It provides the same comfort to ensure that guests do not feel too far from home while still allowing them to experience the wonders that the mountain could give them. But since we want to try the dome, of course we booked for the dome. 🙂

Our little Sai, my photo buddy, is so happy to bring along his plushies: Puggles, Cuddles, Diggles, and I forgot the name of the green toad (it is actually Ate Rei’s pillow).
Below is Ate Rei’s pictures of the flowers around the area.

She took pictures of anything that is not colored green, and calling them all flowers, hehe, even though they are still leaves.

Also a unique feature of this dome room is that it does not have TV. haha. Which is good, at least we get to rest our eyes from those technologies. You get to feast your eyes on nature instead, much healthier. We brought card games and scrabble, which are past time games of Lolo and Gooya.

Right after we checked in, we ordered some snacks, and of course, use the Jacuzzi.

Look at how lovely it looks like with lights on. My camera did not do justice at all.

And what is camping without the bonfire? There should be a bonfire when you are camping, right? Just like our scouting days. hehehe. And on top of that, we get to see a movie while doing the bonfire. And not just that, we get to have our bonfire food! I would say this is Rei and Sai’s first experience in having S’mores.

S’mores are usually made by the campfire. Marshmallows are roasted over the fire until they’re gooey. Then graham crackers with pieces of a chocolate candy bar are used to sandwich the gooey roasted marshmallow. Many kids mash the combination together so that the heat from the marshmallow will melt the chocolate. Soooo yummy!
After the bonfire S’mores and movie, we still have time for Scrabble.

The next day, our breakfast meal was arranged in our own dining hall. That is what Gooya likes, waking up with breakfast ready, and she doesn’t have to go and walk somewhere for the meals. haha! Now, Gooya and Lolo tried the Jacuzzi and also loved it! Ate Rei and Sai had their one-on-one Scrabble game before plunging to the warm pool.

We spent the rest of the day relaxing in our own Jacuzzi. This has got to be one of the memorable places we have stayed. We hope to be back soon. Thanks 150 Peakway! 🙂
