Our 210th entry in this blog is our trip to Mactan’s Solea Hotel and Resort. This is not our first time to visit this resort, but I think this is the first time we came here and stayed for the night.

Solea has 4 hotels within the property. It’s quite confusing when booking a room. hehe. We stayed in Solea Palm while Tita Karen, Tito Dou, and Hearty stayed in Solea Mactan. There is also Solea Seaview and Solea Coast.

After leaving our things in the hotel rooms, we immediately headed for the pool!

We are so excited to try the inflatable park course. When we first looked at it, we instantly planned to take different paths and meet at the other end of the course. Lo and behold, it was so difficult to walk on it that I immediately gave up! hahaha… The kids enjoyed it though, it was actually fun.

We transferred to the kiddie pool. This is now our favorite area. 🙂

Solea has lots of pools, maybe 4 or 5 (including the on near the Solea Mactan lobby). We were not able to try all pools in our first day. We got tired of that water park inflatable course thing. 🙂

We went back to our rooms and got ready for dinner. I forgot to bring my phone during dinner, so there were no photos to post here. hehe. The next day, we started with our fave part, breakfast! 🙂

Solea’s breakfast is now my top 1 favorite. I love their champorado! It’s the first time I got champorado from a breakfast buffet. I think I remember one in Hale Manna Moalboal but, this is still my fave as of today. 🙂

After breakfast, we headed to the beach. It was so windy and cloudy that day, so there are big waves in the beach shore. We still enjoyed our quick stay by the beach. 🙂

Sai enjoyed playing in the sand 🙂 After our visit to the beach, we went back to try the other pools of Solea.

This is the one near Solea Seaview. It’s like a kiddie pool (2 feet deep) but with no slides. Sai and Ate Rei loved this pool.

After trying all the pools, we dressed up and headed to the play area. Their play area is huge. I want to go inside and play. hehe 🙂
Lastly, before we head out for check-out, we roamed around the area with their bikes and mini pedal cars.

That was our very nice stay at Solea. We really want to go back again someday! 🙂 cross fingers!
