Our 231st entry in this blog is our visit to an exhibit about Dinosaurs called Dinosaurs Alive Philippine Tour. This is actually a combination of photos from 2 dates: September 9 and September 30, 2024.

We first bought tickets for September 9 to visit these dinos before we know that there will be a school trip on September 30. So here we are! 2 days of Dino fun!

“Life-like and life-size” dinosaurs have arrived in Cebu City, ready to stomp and roar to greet adventurous parents and kids at a temporary dinosaur park in the middle of a mall. Families can take a tour through a forest dinosaur park called “Dinosaurs Alive,” which is reminiscent of Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, at The Greens, Basement 2 area of Robinson’s Galleria Mall from September 9 to October 8. – rappler.com

The organizer explained that the dinosaurs are able to mimic dinosaur-like movements with the help of animatronics or the use of technology, either by use of puppets or a body-like frame, to electronically “animate” three-dimensional characters.

The concept of the park is a forest-like exploration area meant to show families what it’s like to be up-close and personal with the dinosaurs. Kids can either take pictures while petting the dinosaurs or play in the Fossil Hunt Sandbox area.

The school trip was on September 30. We enjoyed visiting the place together with classmates and friends. 🙂

It is much fun this time as we entered earlier than the mall’s opening hours. So it was accessed exclusively by our school.

Since it was a school trip, the students are assigned to take notes on facts and characteristics of the different dinosaurs they see.

So the kids are busy taking down notes and photos to remember the dinosaur exhibit.

And that was our quick and fun visit of the Dinosaurs Alive exhibit! Hope to see them again someday. 🙂
