Our Trip to Lakeview Le Jardin

Our 243rd entry in this blog is our first time visit to Lakeview Le Jardin along Transcentral Highway in Cebu.

This is such a beautiful place to relax, dine, and see different kinds of flowers and plants. I got these descirption from their brochure: A gastro-botanical space Lakeview Le Jardin was founded in 2021. The idea to open a completely new format for the Philippines where gastronomic experience is combined and reinforced by vivid impressions and fresh sensations from a blooming tropical garden, came to the spouses during the pandemic, when they were forced to move their work from their factories to home.

The place is so peaceful and full of greens πŸ™‚

Lakeview Le Jardin is an expansive botanical garden designed through the creative vision and unique experience of renowned French gardener Jean Daniel and local residents living on the mountain slopes of Cebu Island. The owner (the French person) is the boss of Tita Jinjin in her jewelry designer job πŸ™‚ We are joined with by the Heducos Family and of course, direct from Cavite, Lolo Ver and Lola Daisy Borja. πŸ™‚

“Thousands of species of tropical flowers and hundreds of exotic plants are planted taking into account the peculiarities of the hills and all together create a unique atmosphere of a fabulous southern forest filled with streaming sounds of bright birds and insects.” This is a very well-described piece from their ads indeed πŸ™‚

“You can just walk along the numerous paths of the Garden, have a picnic with a view of Lake Malubog, organize a photoshoot, walk your beloved four-legged friend or organize a romantic dream date during sunset.”

The food is such a haven in here πŸ™‚ Lakeview Le Jardin’s menu was created in collaboration with
a French chef to bring contemporary flavors and unique presentations to French and Filipino favorites.

“The interiors of the restaurant with a panoramic view were inspired by the the beauty of the local nature and the decoration of the houses of the north of France. The interior also uses
robots and books from the family’s private home collection and vintage decor items acquired during their travels to Europe and the Philippines.”

They also sell jewelries, some of them designed by Tita Jinjin.

After eating lunch at their restaurant, we went inside their garden πŸ™‚

The area of the Garden is perfect for celebrations and organizing special events.

Just look at the view from here!

As you enter, you will be welcomed by the beautiful colors that you can see in Lakeview Le Jardin’s central garden. This place is perfect spot for family picnics πŸ™‚

We toured around the area and the oldies are trying to name all the plants they see. hehehe πŸ™‚

The little Z’s: Zoe, Zara, and Zen enjoyed running around the wide area fronting the flower hill.

Our little Sai brought with him his toy penguin Greg so he will not miss the beauty of the mountains.

We spent the afternoon lazying around and eating some picnic snacks from the Cafe inside the garden. This is a different Cafe aside from their restaurant.

The area is quite huge, I’m not sure if we were able to visit every spot they have. πŸ™‚

We ordered some drinks to go! πŸ™‚ And that was our quick visit to the gorgeous Lakeview Le Jardin. We really hope to visit again soon πŸ™‚
