Our Trip to Boracay

Our 249th entry in this blog is our first time trip to Boracay. But it is only us who are first timers here. Gooya, Lolo, and the Londonios already have Boracay moments some time ago. 🙂
Sadly, our flight was moved from 9am to 2pm. And since we have separate flights, by the time we checked in to the airport, Hearty is already in Boracay enjoying her day. Huhu, we missed some fun parts in there. We checked in, rode a bus to the plane, and finally landed after a short flight to Aklan.

Then we lined up for tricycle (Sai loves to ride tricycles) leading to the port for the boat ride.

The boat ride was short and we are blessed with a clear day. 🙂 After the boat ride, we got in to an e-tricyle, a bigger type of tricycle in Boracay island. And then finally we are here! Just look at the beach! No time to lose, we headed directly to the beach. Yay! 🙂

We checked in to hotel Astoria Current. It’s very chic and clean, we love it! 🙂 Our rooms are even connected to each other.

They have this lovely pool that you can relax as well when you want to switch from the beach to a pool 🙂

But of course, we went back to the beach ’til sunset. After that, we went to our rooms, rested for a bit, and then changed clothes for dinner time.

Our hotel is located in Station 3, so we need to walk along the shops and restaurants to Station 2 and finally settled for a seafood dinner at Wokeria Crab Pasta House. The food was really yummy. The crab was heaven, and I forgot to take photos of it because I am so excited to eat it by the time it reached our table. haha. And then of course, dessert! We went to HaloMango for some mango dessert treats.

We then walked back to our hotel barefoot. That was the best beach walk we have! 🙂
Early morning, we again headed out to the beach!

We rented a clear boat to see the clear sand under our boat. And since there are lots of Algae in this time of the year, we can also clearly see them. hehe 🙂

We also had fun burying ourselves in the sand, and also burying the birthday girl Hearty.

We then had our brunch at Sunny Side Cafe for Hearty’s Birthday! 🙂 And we strolled around the shore for a good family photo.

We then went to an area that looks like a food court. We had super yummy fruit shakes! We strolled around again for souvenir shopping and got some good photos by sunset.

We went back to the pool area to watch their fire dance exhibition which was also fun 🙂
Below is our photo of the brunch we had for Hearty’s birthday. And the lunch we also had at Kommons by Kamino the next day (the day of our trip back home). We mostly had our yummy breakfast at the hotel Astoria Current.

And that was our quick visit to Boracay (only 3 days and 2 nights). We should be back here for a longer stay! Wishing and manifesting! hehe 🙂
