Our Trip to Madame Tussauds (SG)

Our 254th entry in this blog is our first time trip to Singapore’s Madame Tussauds.

Madame Tussauds Singapore is a wax museum and tourist attraction at the Imbiah Lookout of Sentosa Island in Singapore. It’s a good thing we came here early as there is no crowd at all, for now.

It officially opened on 25 October 2014 as the seventh Asian branch of the Madame Tussauds chain of wax attractions worldwide.

The wax attraction features many wax figures of notable political icons, famous superstars, sports icons and others, including Yusof Ishak, Sukarno, Lee Kuan Yew, David Beckham, Sharukh Khan, Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga.

They also have a cinema like setup where you can rest, enjoy the cold aircon, and watch the history of Singapore’s culture.

It’s rare to get US Presidents, Singaporean Prime Ministers, Hollywood actors and sports stars all in the same room. Unless you’re at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum.

Former US President Obama is really tall. It is fun comparing your own height with these famous people. Really feels like meeting them in person.

Look how tall Yao Ming is! Sai is just up to the waist line. hehe. Yao Ming’s height is 7 ft 6 in. We are all dwarves being next to him. hehe. πŸ™‚

We have here Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa, Katy Perry, Michael Jackson, and Arnold Schwarzenegger (he is really big!).

Ate Rei is even crowned as the next Miss Universe by our very own Pia Wurtzbach πŸ™‚ And my celebrity crushes are here: Leonardo DiCaprio and Johnny Depp πŸ™‚

And of course, a family picture with Tom Cruise. haha! We also went in the Marvel 4D Cinema which is Sai’s favorite part in this museum. πŸ™‚
