our 266th entry in this blog is our trip to Tops Cebu, or Tops Lookout, in Cebu City. Sorry for the photos below, its just all faces. haha 🙂

We arrived at night in time for dinner. We did not expect the entrance fees of one hundred pesos per head! haha. That is still aside from the parking fees. I should have read first. I did not bring enough cash since most of the time I go cashless. Good thing they also accept GCash.

This is Tita Karen’s 40th birthday dinner. And we all wore white as requested by the celebrant. haha. 🙂 The Top, as it was officially called, opened in 1985. Initially, it consisted of little more than stone-lined borders, wooden benches, and 2-story cogon grass huts arranged in a semicircle. For a time, it was no longer famous as you really have nothing else to do in here.

Fast-forwarding to 2024, TOPS made a remarkable comeback. Now featuring expanded viewing spaces, a variety of restaurants, event spaces, and its signature 360-degree panoramic view that captures the beauty of the mountains, sea, and city. The arches are still here!

And that is our very quick visit to Tops. We hope to be back again and try other restaurants. We dined at…. I actually forgot the name, haha. Sorry for that. Will take note in our next visit.
