Our 291st entry in this blog is our trip to Solea Hotel and Resort in Mactan Cebu.

I think this is the third time we are staying in Solea. Some past stays was in 2022 and 2023. And now, seems like it’s going to be a yearly stay for 2024. Or maybe we’ll find another resort for the next year. hehe.

This is our birthday getaway for Ate Rei! yay! She is now 12 years old. 🙂 Happy Birthday Ate Rei!

What makes this stay so special, is we are trying their Neverland type of room. I wonder why they call this one the Neverland. Maybe you will never grow old in here 🙂

The room has its own play area! You can never say never to that! haha 🙂

We are so happy with the room that we forgot to go outside to start our swimming time. We just played here in the ball pit and slide our hearts out. 🙂

It has a huge bedroom with a king size bed. Another bed by the door, Ate Rei got dibs on this. And another bed on top of the ball pit, where Sai got his dibs as well.

We did not go out of the room ever since we checked in. haha 🙂 We decided to call for a room service to bring in some snacks.

The view from this room is also perfect. We usually choose standard rooms where the view is not so memorable. But for this one, it’s the most gorgeous view in Solea. I’m so excited to see the sunrise from here.

Since we are so busy with our room’s play area, we went out for a swim at a later time already. But it was also a good timing as there are not much crowd. Most of them are lining up for dinner.

We went back to our fave room and rested for the night. 🙂 And then… look at our view in the morning!

I stayed in the veranda for a long time until the sun reached our room. haha! 🙂 Then it is breakfast time.

I have always loved the champorado in Solea. I would be willing to pay the whole amount of breakfast buffet and just eat chaporado! haha 🙂

Then we walked to the beach. Perfect day to go to the beach and walking along the shore. 🙂

It’s a good day today indeed. Not too sunny, and the clouds just added drama to the pictures. hehe. 🙂

And since it is already our check-out day, we went back to our rooms to change for pool time.

It’s like we all have the pool to ourselves. Maybe the others are still sleeping or eating. 🙂

Solea have lots of pool choices that you can never get bored. Our favorite though is the kiddie one. 🙂 After pool time, I checked-out while they are visiting the play room of the resort.

And that was our overnight stay at Solea for Ate Rei’s 12th birrhday. Happy birthday again Ate Rei! 🙂
