Our 316th entry in our digital diary is our first time visit to a Tribal Village in Palawan known as the Palaw’an Village. 🙂

The Tribal Village lies adjacent to the Butterfly Eco‑Garden and is crafted to offer visitors a meaningful cultural immersion with the Palaw’an indigenous people.

Visitors are welcomed into a dynamic space where they can observe traditional crafts like weaving baskets, carving wood, and making jewelry, skills passed down through generations.

You can also experience live cultural performances, including music, songs, and even traditional dances, often accompanied by unique native instruments.

Engage in hands-on activities, try blow‑gun shooting, a traditional hunting technique. Learn primitive fire‑starting using flint stones.

Interact with local “pets” like snakes, and if you’re brave, pose for a photo while holding one.

Indeed a unique experience for all of us. These tribal teens are happy to meet people from different places. Hope to meet them again soon. 🙂
