Our 319th entry in our digital diary is our first time visit to Palawan Waterpark by Astoria, in Puerto Princesa, Palawan. ๐ This day is Tita Karen’s birthday, and as always, a fun day for all of us.

Palawan Waterpark by Astoria is the first and only water theme park in Puerto Princesa, located within the Astoria Palawan resort, a sprawling 8-hectare destination in the heart of the city.

We were immediately greeted by our favorite, the Surfโs Up Pool: A 5-foot-deep wave pool with colorful floaters, great for swimming or lounging. Since we went in very early, it seems like the park is exclusive to us. hehe ๐

Tumbling Buckets Zone: A playful area with mini slides and a water-dumping bucket, ideal for younger kids (2 feet deep) and those young at heart like all of us. hehe ๐

They have this lovely and relaxing place to rest and eat. It is windy and cool in here under the shade of the trees. We left our things here and headed to the pools.

Of course, our first stop is the mini slides. This is just for our warm up exercise. haha ๐

They call this next place, the Marine Sanctuary: Decorated with giant sea creature statuesโperfect for Instagram-worthy snapshots.

Sai is having fun with the crocs. He imagines them as the dinosaurs in one of the scenes in the Jurassic World movie.

Ate Rei, Sai, Hearty, Tito Dou, and Tita Karen also went bravely to the long colorful slides. Sai and Hearty keeps on coming back up to the slides.

St. Paul River Ride: A gentle lazy river ride on floaters, perfect for relaxing and chatting with loved ones. After the lazy river, we went to the wave pool. I have no photos of it, some videos though, because I made sure to join the fun. It was such a fun wave pool that we always ask for the next wave schedule.

And after the long morning of swimming and sliding, we finally felt hungry, haha. Ordered some pika-pika and rice bowl meals by their native canteen.

And that was our quick visit to Palawan Waterpark. We really enjoyed this one and hope to be back someday soon. ๐
