Our Trip to Vigor Kobo

Our 329th entry in our digital diary is our first time visit to Vigor Kobo in Taipei, Taiwan.

Vigor Kobo is best known for its pineapple cakes, a popular Taiwanese souvenir. The filling uses fresh local pineapples, creating a balanced sweetness and authentic flavor.

Pineapple symbolizes good fortune in Taiwanese culture, and the brand promotes this theme in its products and experiences. Opened in 2012, this tourist factory combines food production with interactive entertainment.

They have a DIY workshop where visitors make their own pineapple cakes. A 3D corridor theater showcasing pineapple culture.

They also have the world’s first pineapple-shaped escalator. Multimedia exhibits and tasting sessions.

Visitors can sample various pastries and nougat biscuits. Learn about traditional Taiwanese baking. And Purchase unique souvenirs.

The factory emphasizes transparency in production and food safety standards.

We enjoyed our trip to Vigor Kobo. The pineapple cakes we made are so yummy and we purchased most of our souvenirs here. πŸ™‚
