Our 91st entry in this blog is our trip to JPark Island Resort and Waterpark or simply known as JPark. It was previously named Imperial Palace during our first visit, way back when Ate Rei was still 5 months old. But now, we are so excited to visit it again together with Tita JinJin, Tito MG, and baby Zoe. Papa Dave just came from his first Spartan Beast Race in Danao. And for our celebration of his successful race, we go to JPark, the best place to relax and swim. Gooya is not here with us as she is in Manila with baby Heart.

Here is our little Sai very exSAIted to start his afternoon of swimming. Not much has changed ever since we visited here as then Imperial Palace. The same fun and clean place perfect for families inside this 17-hectare resort.

Our favorite pool here is the narrow, winding body of water that snakes around the Waterpark. They call it the Amazon River and it has a slow current so you just hop onto one of those water inflatables and let the flow take you from one point to another. The lazy river is only 3-3.5 feet deep so it’s not at all scary.

Next, and probably the last pool we visited for today is the children’s pool area as Ate Rei and Sai will no longer go anywhere else. Sai enjoyed his favorite Nemo slide while Ate Rei is with Papa Dave near the giant bucket.

After our hectic schedule at the pools, hehe… it is finally time for dinner. Here we have Ate Rei and Sai with cousin baby Zoe. We are now heading to look for a good resto to dine.

This place has lots of restaurants to choose from: J Lounge, The Abalone, Maru, Olive, Havana by the Sea, Aqus Bar, Nonki, Ching Hai, and lastly Coral Seaside Restaurant (we chose this). When we are in a resort, we always crave for seafoods! Everything was delicious and Ate Rei agrees!

Walking back to our rooms we stopped a little bit at the Havana by the Sea to witness their nightly shows. Entertaining and Fun 🙂 But we need to rest for the night as little Sai is already too sleepy.

Early next morning is breakfast time at The Abalone. Yay! Well, everybody’s busy eating. This buffet restaurant offers a wide array of international cuisines with 4 live stations: Japanese, Western, Oriental, and dessert station. I cannot stop eating my favorite tempura, and that’s just for breakfast! 🙂

We toured around the area, mainly stopping at play areas, of course! They are soon going to have a new indoor play area to be named Pororo Park. I hope to be back here as soon as it opens.

While Ate Rei and Sai are busy with play areas, we are also in our favorite spots, the swing. And of course, Ate Rei and Sai also wants to share the fun with these swings.

And while Ate Rei will not get off from her swing space, we went for a short stroll at the beach front. Here we have Sai and the Heducos family with JPark’s sand castle.

Here are also other shots from our quick stroll around the park.

It’s time to check out, sadly. We still want to stay! Everybody wants to have some lunch first before going home to our different places in Lapulapu.

And so we decided to have lunch at Mactan Alfresco. Yum! Until next time JPark. Hope to be back very soon. 🙂
