Our Trip to Sakuragicho Christmas Village

Our 124th entry in this blog is our trip to Sakuragicho’s Christmas Village in Yokohama, Japan. This place has always been our go to place every time we go out and cannot decide where to go. hehe… 🙂

And today is a perfect day for a stroll in Yokohama. Bright sun, cool breeze, and our first time to go on a Christmas Village.

Unfortunately, because of the pandemic, this year’s Christmas Village is quite small. Only a few participants joined the market and only a few people can get in at a time.

But still, we enjoyed every minute spent at this beautiful place. We took a stroll by the port area and looked at big ships docked by the shore.

By the time we are hungry, we went inside the Christmas Village to get some yummy foods and warm hot chocos.

The tree was big. Bigger than I expected. But the design is just the usual, nothing fancy. The Red Brick building is a perfect backdrop for this Christmas Tree with red balls 🙂

It is going to be night time soon and we waited for the Christmas Tree to light up. We also went again the food area to find more hotdogs or sausages 🙂

It is now going to be freezing cold when nighttime comes. We better go back to the station before we get hungry again! 🙂

Our usual route is to go to World Porters Mall, then to Cosmo World, then to The Queens Tower, and finally to Landmark Tower, then head back to Sakuragicho station. That was a nice day for a Christmas themed walk. 🙂
