Our Trip to Showa Kinen Park

Our 197th entry in this blog is our trip to Showa Kinen Park for Spring 2022. We were not able to make it to their flower festival with lots of tulips for this year, but we still got to see fields of flowers, as always, in our fave Showa Kinen. 🙂

Spring is one of my fave season, aside from Autumn. Well, only those 2 seasons I really like. Just look at the fresh greens in here! Bright happy green trees and plants. Makes you feel fresh and happy 🙂 char!

We planned to rent bikes for today, but as always, “fully booked ang show sa Showa”. tsk tsk. 🙂 So we just happily walk through the fields and find a spot to rest and drink refreshments.

Colorful flowers in the area where we first sat at. 🙂

Walking through the paths under the trees 🙂 Feels like you are in a fairy tale setting.

While Ate Rei and Sai are busy with their flavored ice drinks, I went to the area with the little blue flowers. Yes, these are blue ones. My photos did not do justice at all. It really looked lovely in person though. 🙂

Then, we headed to the yellow flowers area. It is not so yellow anymore as of this day. But still looks lovely 🙂 Ate Rei and Sai enjoyed playing their badminton game while staying at the middle of the wide park (the one near the big tree).

On to the next field with red flowers. Isn’t that an amazing view? 🙂 Blue skies over red flowers.

Lastly, we visited the, uhm… I’m not sure what this area is, it is Japanese themed, lolz of course! Oh yeah, I just googled it. It’s the Komorebi Village. These are what the houses look like during the Edo period.
After our quick stroll and visit in Showa Kinen Park, Ate Rei and Sai are excited to eat some ramen, making faces while waiting for our orders. 🙂
