Our 371st entry in our digital diary is our nth time visit to JPark. This is our 8th post about Jpark though, but I’m sure we have visited this place for more than that. This is our favorite resort, no wonder why we always come here! 🙂 But, the last time we visited here was around 4 years ago. So we kinda miss the place already. 🙂 JPark Island Resort & Waterpark is located in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island, Cebu. It is situated near Mactan-Cebu International Airport, making it convenient for travelers.

The resort is especially famous among Cebu residents for its large wave pool and family-friendly waterpark attractions, making it a popular choice for staycations and weekend getaways. This is supposed to be our last weekend before school starts, but our school schedule was moved 2 weeks after, so it’s actually not yet school time next week, so… hooray! 🙂

We got the Mactan Suite room for Gooya, Lolo, and Ate Ebang. They will be very comfortable in this type of room as it has its own bedroom, sala, and a mini kitchen. JPark has 820 accommodations, consisting of rooms, suites, and private villas.

For me, Ater Rei, and Sai, we got ourselves the Pool Villa. We made sure to have our own pool so that Gooya can enjoy swimming in it without having to be stressed out by other kids and adults roaming around the pool. She can have all the pool to herself. hehe.

The resort includes several guestrooms and suites, providing a wide variety of accommodation options for families and groups. There are 48 villas available, offering added privacy and upgraded amenities.

JPark also offers themed family accommodations, including the Pororo Suite, which is decorated with Pororo-themed furnishings and amenities. The Pororo Suite is the only room we haven’t tried in here (also the Family Pool Villa, but we are having that coming August. yey!)

After our quick dip in the pool we started heading out to look for dinner. hehe 🙂

We brought with us gooya’s wheelchair so that it will be easier for her to move around. And Sai is so happy to drive it here in JPark. 🙂

The resort has 13 restaurants and bars, serving local and international cuisines. We chose the Coral resto as it is by the beach and the sunset colors are to die for. hehe 🙂

Coral Seaside Restaurant is JPark’s dedicated seafood restaurant, specializing in dishes inspired by the ocean’s bounty. The restaurant is located along the resort’s beachfront, offering guests beautiful views of the sea while dining. It is known for its fresh seafood, including fish, prawns, squid, mussels, crabs, and lobster sourced from local fishermen and suppliers.

Ate Rei and Sai also got to feed the fishes in the sea with bread. There are lots of fishes and Sai is worried that not everyone got some bread as the big ones are bullying the little ones. hehe. I’m sure some of them knows how to share dude. 🙂

After dinner, we walked around the resort to look at the night light ups. JPark is a popular family resort destination because of its combination of waterpark attractions, beach access, kids’ facilities, and family-oriented accommodations.

In the morning, before all the pool swimmings, we had our sumptuous breakfast. Breakfast is primarily served at The Abalone, JPark’s international buffet restaurant. The breakfast buffet operates daily, typically from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM. The Abalone offers an international buffet, featuring a variety of Filipino, Asian, and Western breakfast selections. Many guests consider the breakfast buffet one of the highlights of their stay, as it provides a substantial meal before a day of activities at the resort.

The Pool Villa is one of JPark’s premium villa accommodations, designed for guests seeking greater privacy and exclusivity. Each Pool Villa comes with its own private swimming pool, allowing guests to enjoy a secluded swimming experience away from the resort’s main pools. The villa offers a resort-within-a-resort experience, combining private amenities with access to all of JPark’s facilities, including the waterpark and beach.

Of course, we will not miss our favorite lazy river. The Lazy River is often one of the first attractions families visit after breakfast because it offers a leisurely way to explore the waterpark while staying cool under the Cebu sun. Many guests use the Lazy River as a relaxing break between more active waterpark activities, such as swimming, wave pool sessions, and water slides.

We also visited the kiddie pool, we call this place the bucket. Ate Rei just rested by the sidelines, she felt that she’s already too old for the slides. hehe. I’m sure she misses it. 🙂 We will be back on August for Gooya’s birthday! hooray! 🙂
