Our 168th entry in this blog is our first time trip to Glorious Fantasyland. Yay! 🙂

This is located in Dapitan City in Zamboanga del Norte. I am actually confused as to how this theme park is called. Some call it Gloria’s, others call it Glorious. hehehe 🙂 My cousin, Tita Richell said, it used to be Gloria’s Fantasyland (the name of the owner perhaps?) but is now changed to Glorious for a worlwide appeal 🙂

Before we got inside the theme park (it is still early it hasn’t been opened yet. Excited much!), we had our lunch with mostly desserts here in… I forgot the name, I think it was Peaches and Cream? something like that. 🙂 It was all yummy, you can never go wrong with sweets.

Everyone is so excited to enter the park, still waiting for it to open though! hehehe. And by the way, this place was also called Gloria de Dapitan before. 🙂

And finally it is open! Yay! We are greeted with colorful gardens with mostly plastic flowers, but still a good entrance area. We are actually surprised that there is a theme park like this in here, how come we don’t have something like this in Cebu?

Since we arrived early, we are always the first ones to ride for the day. Gloria’s or Glorious Fantasyland is a world-class amusement theme park and commercial center all in one. It is the pride of Mindanao and the biggest theme park in the Philippines. A waterfront theme park with numerous rides, shopping center, restaurant and live entertainment, with fireworks and parades.

Fantasyland is a great place for the whole family. With their waterfront theme park and various ride and activities, it promises fun, excitement and happiness for Children. It is a great place for parents to bring along their Children and notice how happy Ate Rei is to have theme park rides once again, amidst the pandemic.

On top left is the horror house. But it is still too early to get in the horror house. We are saving it for the night. We are so busy strolling around the area and making sure we did not miss a ride.

One of our favorite ride is the Lakbay Pinas.

Everyone got a chance to ride as this is just a very relaxing ride. Even Gooya and Lolo Nonno enjoyed it very much, naming all the places they see. Lakbay Pinas will complement the visit of tourists who want to immerse themselves in the culture, history, and tradition of the country and of the city.

The details are so nice, it feels like we are having the boat ride in It’s a Small World in Disneyland.

This is the most enjoyable, educational, and relaxing ride here. I am not sure though if this is a permanent ride or just a temporary one. But we want to ride it again and again.

Night time already and they all went to the horror house. Well, except for me, the kids, and the seniors. hehehe. According to our brave souls who went inside, it was one of the highlights of the day! But not for me. I totally love the shows!

The shows are really glorious and amazing. For me, I can say it is indeed world class. I really enjoyed it. There is also fireworks, but my phone is already dead so I was not able to capture it.

That was a very memorable visit to the famous theme park in Mindanao. As always, we wish to go back in our next visit to Zamboanga del Norte 🙂 Until next time!
