Our Trip to Disney Adventure

Our 362nd entry in our digital diary is our first time trip to Disney Adventure Cruise in Singapore. Disney Adventure is Disney Cruise Line’s first ship homeported in Asia, sailing from Singapore. We boarded the ship on March 30 (Monday) for our 3-night cruise.

We are so happy seeing the huge ship as this is our first time to be on a cruise, and already a Disney Cruise! This may be very hard to top! 🙂 The moment we boarded the ship, we immediately went to the Maximus restaurant to have our lunch buffet.

Maximus Restaurant is a Tangled-inspired dining venue on the Disney Adventure Cruise, featuring a royal, medieval-themed setting where guests enjoy elegant, family-friendly meals in a warm, banquet-style atmosphere inspired by the kingdom of Corona.

We immediately fell in love with how the Disney Cruise ships shows the detailed decorations for every themed area. It also doesn’t feel crowded. Disney Adventure is one of the largest ships in the Disney fleet, designed to host thousands of guests.

We then went to the Imagination Garden for the Lets Set Sail party. “Let’s Set Sail” is the Disney Adventure Cruise’s opening sail-away celebration, where guests gather on deck to enjoy music, dancing, and appearances from Disney characters as the ship officially departs, creating an exciting and magical start to the voyage. And then, we are so excited to check on our stateroom.

We are so happy to meet our stateroom host, a Filipina yay! Our room is so nice and perfect for the 4 of us. We have a great view of the ocean with our veranda room. 🙂

We also received our onboard gifts that we bought a week early. Our cupcakes for each one, our Disney Adventure bag and tumbler, and our Duffy pillows with the duffy camera set. 🙂

We then went to our first activity on board. “Disney Seas the Adventure” is a Broadway-style stage show on the Disney Adventure Cruise that follows Captain Mickey and friends on a magical journey across the ocean, featuring music, stunning visuals, and inspiring storytelling about courage, dreams, and exploration.

We then explored the different outside deck areas and met with Mickey Mouse 🙂

Wheezy’s Freezies is a Toy Story-themed snack spot on the Disney Adventure Cruise where guests can enjoy refreshing frozen treats and drinks in a fun, playful setting inspired by Wheezy the penguin. We then decorated our stateroom door and got ready for pixie dusting.

Just look at how simple our door decor is. We are clearly first timers in this. haha! 🙂 Pixie Dusting on the Disney Adventure Cruise is a small magical gesture by Cast Members and fellow Guests — such as surprises, treats, or special moments — designed to delight guests and add an extra touch of Disney magic to their experience.

We visited Hearty’s stateroom at the back of the ship while giving pixie dusting gifts to the staterooms we pass by. 🙂 We rested for a bit in our own room and we ate the yummy and moist cupcakes from our onboard gifts.

We are now ready to have our first dinner at Animator’s Palate.

Animator’s Palate is a signature Disney Cruise Line restaurant where the dining room comes to life through animation, transforming from black-and-white sketches to vibrant color while guests enjoy a creative, show-like dining experience inspired by Disney art and storytelling. Our drawings made it to the show. Yay!

Animator’s Palate food features a creative menu of international and contemporary dishes, including a mix of seafood, pasta, meats, and vegetarian options, all presented with artistic flair to match the restaurant’s animation-inspired theme. We then went back to our stateroom, greeted by our animal towel with 4 chocolate bars, and watched a disney movie, Pirates of the Caribbean. 🙂 That was our perfect first day aboard the Disney Adventure Cruise.

For our day 2, I woke up early and waited for sunrise from our veranda. 🙂 The others are still very much asleep.

For our breakfast, we went to Animator’s Table. Animator’s Table breakfast offers a relaxed morning dining experience with a selection of classic breakfast favorites such as eggs, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, served in the restaurant’s creative, animation-themed setting.

After our sumptuous breakfast, we went to the Toy Story Place to enjoy the swimming amenities. 🙂 For today, we are dressed as stormtroopers, our Star Wars disneybounding outfits.

Toy Story Place is a vibrant, family-friendly area on the Disney Adventure Cruise inspired by Toy Story, featuring colorful décor, playful attractions, and interactive spaces where guests can enjoy fun activities in a world that makes them feel like they’ve shrunk to toy-size.

After our pool adventure, we went back to Maximus restaurant as we cannot get over their panna cotta, and their food selections. 🙂

We then spent our afternoon playing at San Fransokyo Street. Games at San Fransokyo Street on the Disney Adventure Cruise are interactive, tech-inspired activities where guests can join fun missions, challenges, and training experiences — like helping Hiro or completing tasks with Baymax — in a lively, futuristic setting inspired by Big Hero 6.

After the fun games, it’s eating time again at the boba shop. Bewitching Boba and Brews is a whimsical, Little Mermaid-inspired café on the Disney Adventure Cruise where guests can enjoy bubble tea and specialty drinks in a playful, villain-themed setting influenced by Ursula’s magical world. We also watched another show, the best show, called Remember. Photos are not allowed during the show though.

We did a quick photo session with the light sabers, perfect for our star wars outfit. Then we rested at Wayfinder Bay waiting for our dinner time. 🙂

Dinner at Pixar Market on the Disney Adventure Cruise offers a lively experience featuring a wide variety of international dishes, Asian favorites, and comfort food, all served in a colorful Pixar-inspired setting that celebrates beloved characters and playful storytelling. The food here is yummy as well.

After dinner, we went up to the topmost deck and watched the fireworks show.

“The Lion King: Celebration in the Sky” is a dazzling nighttime fireworks show on the Disney Adventure Cruise, featuring music and scenes inspired by The Lion King, with vibrant pyrotechnics lighting up the sky in a powerful celebration of adventure, hope, and the circle of life.

We then went back to our stateroom, and greeted by a grumpy towel frog, guarding the chocolate bars. That was our wonderful Day 2. What a day!

For our Day 3, we dressed up as Avenger Heroes. This is our last full day here on the cruise. We started our day with a breakfast at Pixar Market with buffet style breakfast. The area is huge, it is difficult to taste everything in here. haha!

Pixar Market’s themed design features a bright and playful atmosphere inspired by beloved Pixar films, with colorful décor, character artwork, and immersive details that create a lively market-style setting celebrating stories from Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, and more.

Since we are dressed as Marvel Heroes for the day, we headed to the Marvel Landing area. I am spiderman, Sai as the Hulk, Papa Dave as Captain America, and Ate Rei as Iron Man. 🙂

We met Black Panther and Spiderman while we lined up for the rides. We then went back inside to stay at air conditioned areas. haha. So hot outside.

We toured the shops and bought ourselves some souvenirs. 🙂 We also went to the Tiana Bar area. Tiana’s Bayou Lounge is a Princess and the Frog–inspired venue with a cozy New Orleans bayou atmosphere, where guests can relax with drinks, music, and treats in a warm, magical setting. We’re here for the drinks and to join the Trivia game.

The lounge also hosts trivia games, where guests can join fun, interactive quizzes—often Disney-themed—in a lively yet laid-back environment, adding a social and playful experience to the evening. It was so fun, but we did not win. haha. But the drinks are so yummy, so it is still a win for us. 🙂 We then had our snacks at Ohana’s Grill.

ʻOhana Grill on the Disney Adventure Cruise is a Polynesian-inspired dining spot that serves grilled favorites and island-style dishes in a warm, tropical setting, offering a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere with flavors inspired by Hawaiian cuisine.

“Marvel Super Hero Show” is an action-packed live performance on the Disney Adventure Cruise where iconic Marvel heroes take center stage, featuring thrilling stunts, dynamic effects, and an exciting storyline that brings the Marvel universe to life for guests of all ages. That was a fun show indeed.

We then relaxed again at the Wayfinder Bay and watched a movie while waiting for our dinner.

Our last dinner was at Navigator’s Club. Navigator’s Club is a nautical-themed lounge on the Disney Adventure Cruise that celebrates the spirit of exploration, featuring maritime décor, vintage maps, and artifacts, creating a cozy space where guests can relax and feel like classic seafarers embarking on a grand voyage.

We really enjoyed so much the food and the show. The character’s went to our table and gave us a warm greeting. 🙂 We also had a photo with our main server from India, and his assistant server from Philippines.

Our Day 3 ended with the best dinner on board. We then went back to our stateroom to watch a disney movie, and again was greeted by our towel animal guarding the chocolate bars. By morning, I went out early at the veranda and already saw that we are about to dock at the Marina Bay port.

It’s a bittersweet goodbye to the best cruise vacation we had, and our first one at that. hahaha. For our debarkation day, we had our breakfast at Pixar Market again, to explore more of the buffet foods we haven’t eaten yesterday. hehe.

We made sure to eat a lot as we will be disembarking the ship this day and will be back to reality. haha.

We are sad that our cruise has ended, as well as happy that we get to experience this wonderful vacation experience. We really hope to go back in the future. Crossing fingers. 🙂
