Our 363rd entry in our digital diary is our second time visit to Gardens By The Bay in Singapore. This is an Iconic Nature Park. Gardens by the Bay is a world‑famous urban nature park located in the Marina Bay area of Singapore. Here we are, fresh from our Disney Cruise, we immediately went to Gardens By The Bay. 🙂

The gardens officially opened to the public on June 29, 2012. So this has the same age as Ate Rei. 13 years old now. 🙂

The park covers about 101 hectares of reclaimed land in central Singapore. We had a long walk, and every turn has amazing views of the park and nearby buildings.

Home to the Supertree Grove – The Supertrees are vertical gardens ranging from 25 to 50 meters tall and are one of Singapore’s most recognizable landmarks.

It features two large climate‑controlled domes: Flower Dome (cool‑dry climate) and Cloud Forest (cool‑moist climate with an indoor waterfall). For today, we will be going to the Cloud Forest. We visited the Flower Dome 2 years ago, during our first visit to Singapore.

This has the World’s Largest Glass Greenhouse – The Flower Dome holds the Guinness World Record for the largest glass greenhouse in the world.

Sustainable Design – The Supertrees collect rainwater, generate solar energy, and help ventilate the conservatories. After our visit to Cloud Forest, we went to their Food Court called Jurassic Nest Food Hall.

Over 1.5 million plants – The gardens showcase plant species from more than 150 countries.

Dinosaur-Themed Dining Experience – Jurassic Nest Food Hall is Singapore’s first dinosaur‑themed food hall, featuring life‑sized animatronic dinosaurs that move and roar, creating an immersive prehistoric atmosphere while dining.

Wide Variety of Local and Asian Food – The food hall offers a curated selection of hawker‑style dishes and regional cuisines, including Singaporean favorites like Hainanese chicken rice, laksa, and satay, making it both a dining and themed attraction experience.
