Our Trip to Buko Seaside bar and Restaurant

Our 374th entry in our digital diary is our first time trip to Buko Seaside bar and Restaurant in Mactan, Cebu. I just searched the nearest seafood restaurant when we were staying at JPark Resort and this came out as first in the list. 🙂

It is located in Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, along the waterfront near Kontiki Beach, giving diners scenic seaside views and a relaxing oceanfront atmosphere. Sai is not enjoying this place, haha, he hates it when it’s not aircon. But the place has cool beach breeze and is not hot at all. It’s very much enjoyable eating sea foods with fresh air and the sound of the waves. 🙂

The restaurant specializes in Filipino, Asian, and Thai cuisine, offering dishes such as seafood platters, baked scallops, barbecue sets, steaks, and a variety of cocktails and beverages. My favorite is their pineapple rice. It is literally in a pineapple fruit as its plate. 🙂

It is highly rated by customers, holding a 5/5 rating on Tripadvisor with over 1,100 reviews, making it one of the most popular dining spots in Lapu-Lapu City. I also love their shakes. I ordered the mango shake and it was uniquely presented in a coconut thing that serves as its glass. 🙂

The restaurant is known for its al fresco dining experience, where guests can enjoy fresh sea breezes, sunset views, and a cozy beachfront ambiance that is popular for family gatherings, dates, and special occasions. I also recommend their seafood platter. The crab and lobsters are to die for. haha. 🙂
